Whereabouts
Athlete’s who are notified by the WTC for inclusion in the Registered Testing Pool (RTP), will be required to provide up-to-date athlete Whereabouts Filings to ensure they can be tested at anytime and anywhere with no advance notice. The WTC will coordinate with the relevant National Anti-Doping Agencies to access whereabouts submitted by athlete’s already providing whereabouts to their NADO. The WTC uses the ADAMS to manage all athlete whereabouts.
Athletes must provide the following information
- A complete mailing address where correspondence may be sent to you;
- For each day, the full address of the place where you will be residing (e.g. home, temporary lodgings, hotel, etc);
- For each day, the name and address of each location where you will train, work or conduct any other regular activity, as well as the usual time-frames for such regular activities;
- For each day, a designated location and one hour period where you can be located for testing, and
- Your competition schedule, including the name and address of each location where you are scheduled to compete, the dates on which you are scheduled to compete and any corresponding travel days.
It is the responsibility of the athlete to ensure that the information supplied is kept up to date and accurate at all times.

Missed Tests
If an athlete is unavailable for testing when an Anti-Doping Organization attempts to test them during the specific 60-minute slot as provided by the athlete, then a Missed Test may be recorded.
Filing Failures
If an athlete fails to provide and update the required Whereabouts information, then a Filing Failure may be recorded.
Any combination of three Missed Test(s) and/ or Filing Failure(s) within an 18 month period will constitute an Anti-Doping Rule Violation
Quick Tips for Athlete Whereabouts
- Keep the one hour slot and location consistent
- Whenever you book an airline ticket – submit a whereabouts update
- Whenever you confirm a hotel – submit a whereabouts update
- Print out a copy of the calendar from ADAMS; keep a copy in a gear back, on a fridge and give a copy to all coaches
- Talk to the WTC and our whereabouts partner, ANADO ADS, – we’re here to help
- Submit Whereabouts ahead of the deadline. This gives the us the opportunity to identify any problems and provide support
- Make sure correct email and phone numbers are saved in ADAMS so email and SMS reminders can be sent.
