Results Management
As a private corporation conducting triathlon events under the IRONMAN® brand, the World Triathlon Corporation was the first private, non-federation sports company to formally adhere to the World Anti-Doping Code. The WTC Rules are adopted and implemented in conformance with the WTC’s responsibilities under the Code, and are in furtherance of the WTC’s continuing efforts to eradicate doping in the sport of triathlon.
The WTC is responsible for the results management and adjudication for Ironman athletes tested under its jurisdiction. The WTC’s processes ensure a transparent and fair results management and adjudication process and rely on American Arbitration Association (AAA)/Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) arbitrated hearings under modified AAA Commercial Rules.
Following the conclusion of results management proceedings conducted under the WTC’s jurisdiction, and consistent with the WTC Rules, the WTC will publish the outcome, making public the name(s) of any individual sanctioned by the WTC.
